RADIO WORKS
In addition to his work in television, film and theatre, Patrick has also performed many times in radio drama, his talent in this area later leading to him being much in demand for voiceover work and audiobook readings. He made his first steps in radio in the United Kingdom where he was engaged regularly by the BBC during the post-War years of the 1940s.

When he relocated to Canada in 1952 he also found regular work in radio there.

Sadly, archive records and other information sources concerning Canadian radio productions offer scant details and, in the main, do not list which roles were performed by the actors.

However, some photographic evidence of Patrick’s work in this field exists in the CBC Archive, one of which shows him at a 1952 radio recording session for the Ford Theatre strand. It is thought that the photograph may be from their radio production of Richard II.
